The Bank of East Asia Singapore offers their home loan for salaried and self-employed individuals earning at least the minimum average income in Singapore. The limit to how much you can pay per month is limited to 50% of your monthly income. BEA bank will only cover 70% of the property’s value.
You may have your spouse or parents as a co-applicant as well. This can help you cover your loan and their income will also add to your eligibility to take out a Bank of East Asia home loan. You can choose loan terms up to 25 years or up to a specified age.
To apply, you’ll need to present a copy of your NRIC or passport of the main and co-applicants available. You’ll also need to present the latest computerised payslip and CPF statement for salaried individuals. Self-employed people will need to bring their income tax assessment that covers the latest 2 years of your business. Other documents will also be asked for, such as tenancy or purchase agreements, whenever applicable.
